The Days Inn Liberty/Kansas City (Mo.) is near the site of the bank robbed by two of the most infamous outlaws of the Old West: Jesse and Frank James. In 1866, the James Gang allegedly raided old Liberty Bank in the first of their peacetime daylight bank robberies. Now known as the Jesse James Bank Museum, guests can observe James and bank relics. Downtown Kansas City, the Kansas City Zoo and casinos are 20 minutes away. Worlds of Fun amusement park and the adjacent Oceans of Fun water park are just six miles away.
