Remodeled in 2004, the American West Motel is a budget-minded property for discriminating guests. The hotel is located half a block off of Hwy 20, in the heart of West Yellowstone. Close to shopping and many restaurants, guests will find this more than just convenient. The American West Hotel is only four blocks from the IMAX Theater and the Grizzly Discovery Center, as well as the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The American West is a little property with a lot of heart.This property offers complimentary wireless internet access in the lobby. Guestrooms feature individual air-conditioning units, cable television, in-room coffee, telephone, bathroom with shower, and guestrooms feature two full-size beds or one queen bed. While in West Yellowstone, guests may enjoy a quiet walk along one of the many well-marked, scenic trails. Fly fishing, which this area is well known for, is only minutes from the motel. The lobby offers coffee, tea, hot chocolate and muffins in the mornings. There are gas barbeques and picnic tables available for guest use.
