Lakeland Regional High School is a comprehensive regional four-year public high school and school district serving students from two communities in Passaic County, New Jersey. The district serves students from the Boroughs of Ringwood (602 students from a 2000 Census population of 12,396) and Wanaque (447 students from a population of 10,266).^[1]

tudents come to the high school from the Ringwood Public School District and the Wanaque Borough Schools, as well as from several private schools. The constituent communities have a combined population of approximately 25,000. The area is overwhelmingly residential, with single-family, owner-occupied homes. The absence of major employers within the community limits the funding sources of the district, but the school board and the community continue to support a comprehensive curriculum. The community actively participated in the preparation of an aggressive Strategic Plan and a forward thinking Technology Plan, both of which are now being implemented.^[1]
