Located in downtown Chattanooga on the trolley line, this Chattanooga landmark hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Read House is known for its Georgian architectural style and Southern charm. The quarter-sawed English walnut paneling, old-fashioned drop mailboxes and elevator dials, and terrazzo-poured marble floors give the lobby a stately feel.
