- Location. Chase Suite Hotel Salt Lake City is one block from Historic Trolley Square in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. With the Great Salt Lake to the west and the Wasatch Mountains to the east, Salt Lake City offers some great recreational possibilities include hiking, biking and horseback riding. The area is gaining a reputation for its dry, fluffy snow and premier ski resorts, particularly Park City, which is just over 20 miles from the property. Temple Square, world headquarters to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is a popular attraction featuring some fantastic architecture and the sounds of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Despite its reputation as a boring Mormon town, Salt Lake City actually has a fairly exciting nightlife and plenty of casual restaurants.
